Multi-Channel Power Testing Revolutionized

HELION Multi-Channel Modular Power Supply simplices and streamlines the traditional approach to multi-channel power testing scenarios where multiple set of power sources and electronic loads along with complex wirings are required for building up the testing environment.

Integrating in a single enclosure at 3U size 6 channels which allow quick swapping and removal of modules that can be either AC or DC in bidirectional functionality, a single set of HELION Multi-Channel Modular Power Supply is equal to 6 sets of traditional single-channel power testing equipment, either source or load.

Module Based Scenario Build-Up with Fast Removal & Swapping

HELION Multi-Channel Modular Power Supply offers a range of module options to cover bidirectional DC power testing, bidirectional AC power testing, and one-way source module for PV emulation. Each module can be set into one of the 6 slots within the mainframe with independent power control to avoid mainframe downtime, improve equipment maintenance flexibility and facilitate calibration processes as well as troubleshooting.

Inverter Testing

Helion Multi-Channel Power Supply is an ideal power testing equipment that matches the testing scenarios for PV inverters.

Applications
  • On the DC side that feeds the inverter, Helion can emulate PV panels or batteries to dynamically supply the inverter with dynamically changing I-V profiles for MPPT validation.
  • On the inverter's output side, the AC module can act as a programmable grid simulator, generating single-phase or three-phase voltage waveforms, including disturbances such as voltage dips, imbalances, or harmonics, to validate the inverter’s grid compliance.

Notes:

  1. In the parameter table, any mention of F.S. related to AC output voltage refers to the rated AC output voltage.
  2. The DC component is measured at rated output voltage / 50 Hz frequency under no-load condition.
  3. When the output voltage is set to the maximum rated voltage, measurements are taken under pure resistive load at full rated output power.
  4. The resolution is defined as 0.001 Hz or 0.01% of the current setting—whichever is greater.
  5. In the parameter table, any mention of F.S. related to DC output voltage refers to the rated DC output voltage.
  6. Output ripple voltage is measured under no-load condition with output DC voltage set to rated value.
  7. Crest factor refers to the ratio of peak current to RMS current. For a standard sine wave, the typical value is 1.414. The maximum allowable crest factor is 6, but the peak current must not exceed the device's maximum peak current, and this is not defined under rated conditions.
  8. In the parameter table, any mention of F.S. related to peak output current refers to the maximum peak output current.
  9. In the parameter table, any mention of F.S. related to output power refers to the rated output power.
  10. Power derating applies above 40°C. Please refer to the user manual for detailed derating requirements.
